Spiny Swift (Phrynosomatidae Sceloporus magister).

This is my Spiny Lizard although I’m not 100% certain what type as there seems to be a couple of similar species that vary slightly depending where abouts they come from in the world. They mainly come from Western United States and Mexico; they grow to around 10 inches in length and live around 3 – 6years. The terrarium should be setup for a semi arid environment with some rocks and logs for climbing, they are very active lizard so will require a good amount of room to move about. A high UVB light should be provided to give the necessary daylight and vitamins this lizard will need along with a strong basking lamp at one end of the enclosure. They will feed on a variety of insects and the occasional pinkie, food should be dusted with vitamin powder a couple of times a week.
