This is my Brown Anole & House gecko, now I know you should really mix species but these two seem to get on fine and have done for over 3 years now. Brown Anoles comes from the West Indies and is all well established in Florida and parts of Texas. They grow to around 6-8 inches in length and live roughly 4 years. These little lizards are arboreal mainly living in woodland but can be found in suburbs attracted by the insects which can be found around people. UVB light and a hot spot should be provided for these lizards. The house gecko is a small nocturnal lizard found in Southern Asia, these lizards are largely insectivores, but adults will consume spiders and other invertebrates. They are extremely quick and very hard to catch which makes them a hard to handle on the plus size they are very active during late evening especially when feeding. |
